Olivia Huang is a litigation associate at Carmel, Milazzo& Feil, LLP (“CMF”) where she represents public and private companies in securities and complex corporate litigation, spanning all aspects of pleadings, discovery, and appeal. Ms. Huang’s practice encompasses in a wide range of subject matter areas, including shareholder disputes, derivative claims, claims for breach of contract, professional malpractice actions, employment law class actions, and tortious interference matters.
Ms. Huang has prosecuted and defended for individuals and corporations in federal and state courts as well as appellate courts where she successfully reversed the lower courts’ decisions. She strives to protect clients’ interests and rights with her aggressive and creative legal strategies.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Huang also counsels corporate clients on all variety of securities and transactional issues, including FINRA and SEC rules and regulations issues, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing transactions, registered direct transactions, public offerings, and other securities offerings.
Ms. Huang earned her LL.M. degree from Boston University concentrating on International Business Law and Securities Regulation. She also received an LL.B. degree with minor in Mathematical Economics from Xiamen University where she was awarded Guanghua scholarship for the highest GPA of the year and received multiple awards from national moot court competitions.
Ms. Huang is fluent in Mandarin and admitted to practice New York State and the Southern District of New York.
