Jeffrey Hua is a senior associate at Carmel, Milazzo & Feil LLP, where he advises clients on a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, SEC reporting and compliance, and general corporate matters.
Previously, Jeff was a corporate attorney at various firms, including those that are Am Law-ranked, where he advised privately-held companies, ranging from start-ups to mature enterprises, on a broad array of transactions throughout their respective life cycles, from financings to strategic transactions and exits, and also counseled publicly-traded corporations on SEC reporting and compliance, as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies on financial acquisitions. His experience spans across a variety of industries, including energy, technology, healthcare, consumer products, services, manufacturing, media, and aerospace.
Jeff was selected for inclusion in the 2021 and 2022 Southern California Super Lawyers – Rising Stars® lists for his mergers and acquisitions work.
Jeff earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (J.D., 2014), where he achieved an honors distinction in the corporate law concentration and served as senior technical editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. He was also on the Dean’s Honor List and a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.
Jeff received his undergraduate degrees in business administration (finance concentration) and political science from the University of California, Riverside (B.S. & B.A., 2011), where he was on the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List.
