Howard is a corporate attorney who has successfully served as lead transaction counsel and general counsel (“in-house” and “outside”) to private and public companies, private investment funds, and start-up ventures. He has significant experience having been in practice for over 35 years in the areas of: mergers and acquisitions (M&A); corporate finance; securities; public offerings and private placements; SEC reporting and compliance (’33 and ‘34 Acts); and representation of individuals in connection with general contract matters.
Howard also has noteworthy experience representing both venture capital funds and companies in connection with venture capital transactions. He is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell. Howard graduated from Rutgers College in 1982 and from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1986, where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Cardozo Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
